South African performers and poets Grace Storm and Thandiwe Nqanda will bring their evocative production Grieve, That Is How You Survive to the stage at Emakhaya Theatre at Wits Museum in Johannesburg.
The performance will be a visceral exploration, painting grief not just as an emotion, but as a living presence that can be felt, seen, and experienced in ways both personal and universal.
At its heart, "Grieve, That is How You Survive" is a meditation on how we carry and live with grief. It emphasises that grief is an integral part of love and life, and by allowing ourselves to fully experience it, we can ultimately find hope and healing.
